Summary of role
As a BI/Data Analyst, you’ll take ownership of Power BI reporting from data extraction to insight delivery. This is more than a reporting role, it’s a chance to shape how data drives decisions across marketing, e-commerce, and performance optimization.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards from scratch, blending data storytelling with technical excellence.
- Modelling data using star/snowflake schemas; building insightful DAX measures and KPIs.
- Extracting, transforming, and validating data with SQL ensuring consistency and accuracy across reports.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance) to define metrics, capture requirements, and prioritize needs.
- Managing tasks via a ticketing system, maintaining transparency on progress and priorities.
- Performing QA/QC on reports, investigating anomalies, and documenting metrics and logic.
- Supporting data migrations and tracking updates with impact analysis and comparison reporting.
- Presenting insights in a business-friendly manner that supports quick, data-driven decisions.
- Keeping up with Power BI updates, AI trends, and proposing enhancements proactively.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4–6 years in a BI, Data Analyst, or Power BI Developer role.
- Hands-on experience delivering and maintaining production-ready Power BI dashboards.
- Power BI: Data modeling, DAX, Power Query, drill-throughs, user experience optimization.
- SQL: Data extraction and transformation across multiple sources.
- Bonus: Familiarity with tools like Tableau, Qlik, and Looker Studio. Exposure to AI/forecasting concepts.
- Sharp analytical thinking with a strong sense of data accuracy and business context.
- Proven experience with KPIs in digital, marketing, or e-commerce settings.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, structured, and collaborative. Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
